What is Safe Graduation?
What is Safe Graduation? Safe Graduation is an all-night, alcohol and drug free celebration for the graduating class. It is not a school sponsored activity; it is planned and organized by senior parents, guardians and the Tri-Town Youth Services Bureau. It is an alternative to the traditional graduation party. The purpose of Safe Graduation is to insure that all of our graduates can celebrate in a safe environment. Typically over 90% of graduates participate.
Why is it so important?
Graduates often 'party hop' in their efforts to celebrate with as many of their classmates as possible. Safe Graduation provides a safe alternative to party hopping: it keeps all of the graduates off of the roads, prevents any of them from becoming an accident statistic and allows their parents to rest easy knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.
