When and where is it held?
The celebration begins at 9:30 pm on the night of graduation, with check-in at the high school. The location is a surprise. The graduates will find out that night when they arrive at the undisclosed destination for the FUN! The graduates will return to Valley between 5:00 am and 5:30 am.
Are all members of the graduating class eligible to attend?
Graduates must qualify to 'walk' in the graduation ceremony.
Why do graduates choose to attend Project Graduation?
There are numerous reasons why this celebration is so popular:
(1) This is the last time all of the graduates will be together;
(2) The evening is filled with fun events that usually include, music with a DJ, a movie theater, games and plenty of food;
(3) The event is free to graduates, for the fund raising efforts by the SafeGrad Committee covers the cost of the event;
(4) If there are funds left, the participants will usually get a small gift or gift card. Participation is historically very high, so the seniors can spend this special night with their friends.
How does my senior sign up to attend?
Seniors, along with their parents, will receive a permission slip the middle of May. Permission slips must be signed and returned several weeks before graduation. Unfortunately we cannot "add people in" at the last minute. So please plan ahead!
